Hi cat parents and furry family members!

My name is Alisha and I (really really) love cats! I started cat sitting in August 2022 because I unfortunately can't have any more cats where I live at the moment, but being able to visit other kitties and look after them for a little while is the perfect way to spend my spare time.  I have been working through apps such as Pawshake and Rover but since I was recently made redundant I decided to focus on doing what I love and started To The Moon And Back Cat Sitting ♥

There's No Place like Home

When you're planning a trip there's a lot of things to remember... flights, hotels, passport, sun cream... but most important is making sure there is someone you trust to care for your furbaby whilst you're away. Hiring a cat sitter is typically much less stressful for your cats than leaving them in a cattery. They can remain in their own home rather than being put into a scary new environment, where they will have limited space and will be surrounded by strangers, loud noises and strange smells.

I offer a free consultation to new clients so that we can get to know each other, discuss your requirements, go over their routine and you can ask any questions about me or my services. I think that this is a really important step that helps remove some of the stress of finding a cat sitter, and I want to make sure that you feel completely comfortable before we confirm any bookings.

My family have always had cats and I love them all so much (to the moon and back!), so you can believe me when I say that I understand how important your furry family members are. This also means that I have a lot of experience with cat care and will always put in every effort to make sure your kitties feel safe and cared for whilst you're away.

I currently have 2 rescue cats of my own who can be quite nervous and temperamental but are making progress. My family have 3 more as well at the moment, one of which I helped treat for FIP last year and is now doing amazingly well. Overall I think it's safe to say that when it comes to cats there's not a lot that I haven't been through but I wouldn't change them for the world!

I should probably mention something else so I don't seem like a crazy cat lady... I also love sci-fi and cosplay, and I have degrees in Physics and Biomedical Engineering :)
